Harvester Arts’ core values are Experimentation, Capacity Building, and Community Engagement.
Our programming builds the creative capacity of the community through arts experimentation, public art projects, artist residencies, and professional development for artists.

We’re growing every day — expanding programming, embracing new partners, and working to increase the capacity for creatives in Wichita and the surrounding area! In that spirit, the Harvester Arts team created a video to introduce ourselves and tell our story to those who haven’t met us yet. Have a friend who’s looking for a fun volunteer opportunity? Know an artist who could use some guidance or a place to share their work? Maybe your employer would like to sponsor a Harvester Arts event or initiative. Pass along our new sizzle reel so they can get to know us!
Harvester Arts gallery operations are now located at The LUX at 1st & Market!
It’s a gorgeous space and we’re ecstatic to grow into our future here. We’ll see you at 120 E. 1st St. N.
Guess what? WSU ShiftSpace and Wichita Sketch Club are coming with us! And don’t worry — we hope to transition the original Harvester Arts home on 1st & Washington into full-on artist studio spaces.
Harvester Arts currently receives funding for general operational support from the City of Wichita, the Kansas Arts Commission, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the Beach Family Foundation.
For 12 years, the City of Wichita has granted funding to local arts organizations to recognize, preserve and celebrate Wichita’s rich arts and cultural heritage - a heritage that has a tremendous impact on all residents’ quality of life. In addition, Harvester Arts was supported in part by the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Following Andy Warhol’s will, the mission of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts is the advancement of the visual arts. The foundation manages an innovative and dynamic grants program while also preserving Warhol’s legacy through creative and responsible licensing policies and extensive scholarly research for ongoing catalogue raisonné projects. To date, the foundation has given nearly $330 million in cash grants to over 1,000 arts organizations around the country and abroad and has donated 52,786 works of art to 322 institutions worldwide.
