We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the Wichita Community Foundation and the Knight Foundation, Harvester Arts received a $28,600 grant for Harvester Community Fellows. This program offers tangible support and career development for, and with, the local creative community. The creation of a focused cohort of artists will offer exhibition and networking opportunities on a national scale. Our Fellows were chosen in April from an open call. Each will receive a stipend of $2,500 as participants in this program. The inaugural class of Community Fellows are: Cheyla Clawson Chandler (dance/sociology), Linnebur + Miller (performance), Kevin Kelly (painting), Christopher Mackie (sculpture), Amanda Pfister (photography/community organizing), Kristen Phipps (painting), and A.P. Vague (media/writing). A group exhibition of their work will open at Harvester Arts on Final Friday June 30th 2017.
