Cinematic Exposures Movement Workshop

May 2, 2026 | 1 PM | Ballet Wichita, 1600 W Douglas Ave | 0-$20 sliding scale admission

Join Smackdab Dance Lab for a movement workshop tracing the emotional landscape of hardship, betrayal, and healing. Through indie dream-pop textures and guided exploration, participants will move through layers of unraveling, remembering, and reimagining what it means to begin again.

Rhiannon Vieyra is one of the featured choreographers for the upcoming Smack Dab Dance Fest (you don’t even know what that is yet… but you will soon). As she is preparing this new work, she extends this invitation to the community to come and experience some of the process.

Trained dancers and lovers of dance are invited to be part of the experiment. Studio doors will open at 12:30 for you to come and indulge in your own warm up. At 1 PM, Rhiannon will facilitate a short group warm up and then start diving deep.

Spots are limited. The fee for this experience is on a sliding scale ($0-$20). We don’t want cost to be a barrier, please pay what you can. See you soon!

Shout out to Ballet Wichita for hosting us in their space!
