This July 15, Jeff Young and Paul Pinto, members of ensemble thingNY, are coming to Harvester Arts on their fourth US tour after releasing their album:
“Jeff Young and Paul Pinto, Patriots, Run for Public Office on a Platform of Swift and Righteous Immigration Reform, Lots of Jobs, and a Healthy Environment: An Opera by Paul Pinto and Jeffrey Young”
Created in 2011 as a parody of contemporary politics and politicians, the piece focuses on issues of immigration and national identity. Expect political buttons and shiny shoes.

Joining them on the bill at Harvester Arts will be Wichita’s own doom folk outfit Old Man Creaky Bones (a project of Danny Echo), performing songs off their new album Dive Bar Celebrities or whatever they DAN well feel like.
