WICHITA BROADSIDES PROJECT: A collaboration between Wichita Artists & Poets

What is a broadside? A sheet of paper with a proclamation to be distributed among the citizenry — in our case, art and poetry for public consumption! Working with community partners, we are bringing visual artists and poets together to combine image and text into an original, mass-produced and easily available piece. Broadside Mixers are planned for May, June, and July of 2017 so artists and poets can have a chance to get to know one another and team up.
Mixers are scheduled at Harvester Arts on May 24, June 21, and July 20 each from 5:30-7 with an open mic for individuals to share ideas beginning at 6. Snacks and drinks provided.
