KMUW Featured Artist Exhibition: Armando Minjarez

KMUW is proud to present a solo exhibition by its 2023 featured artist Armando Minjarez. Titled "My Precious Lil' Things," the exhibit features new paintings and sculptures by Minjarez. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at Harvester Arts, 215 N. Washington. Open galllery hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Call for Artists - City of Wichita and Harvester Arts: A City Where I Belong

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced that the City of Wichita has been approved for a $75,000 'Our Town' award in support of "A City Where I Belong: A Toolkit for Artists." These placemaking grants support projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into local efforts to strengthen and authentically engage communities in order to advance local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes in communities.
